The University of Oxford in the United Kingdom (UK) is offering fully funded research studentships to home and international students.
The fully funded Oxford Geotechnical Engineering Scholarship covers tuition fees, and provides a £20,780 living stipend for selected candidates from within and outside the UK.

Details of University of Oxford Geotechnical Engineering Scholarship:
The University of Oxford Geotechnical Engineering Scholarship is a research-based studentship supervised by Professor Jonathan Knappett and Professor Chris Martin.
The project is based on the Nature-based and biomimetic foundation systems and will begin by exploring how different tree root system architectures behave under different combinations of vertical (V), horizontal (H) and moment (M) loading.
The scholarship is fully funded, and does not require either the TOEFLor IELTS. Also, NO APPLICATION FEE is also required.
Requirements for Oxford Geotechnical Engineering Scholarship 2026
To be considered for the Oxford Geotechnical Engineering Scholarship, you must:
•Be either a home or an international student.
•Have a first-class or a strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent) in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics.
•Demonstrate excellent English written and spoken communication skills.
The following skills are desirable but not essential:
•Previous study in Geotechnical Engineering or Structural Engineering.
•Ability to program in Matlab or Python.
•Previous experience in Finite Element Analysis.

•Course fees at the same level for home and overseas students.
•£20,780 stipend per annum for the first year, and at least this amount for a further two and a half years.
