Ekiti State University (EKSU) in Ado-Ekiti has revealed its admission process for the upcoming 2023/2024 Academic Session. The Post-UTME screening for applicants will begin on September 4, 2023. Notably, no examination will be conducted during this process. EKSU will also consider UTME candidates who scored 140 and above in the 2023 UTME and are willing to change their first-choice institution to EKSU on their JAMB CAPS.
Candidates applying for the 2023/2024 admission exercise should note that successful students from Pre-Degree and JUBEB Programs will be considered. Those awaiting O’level results should apply once their results are available. The minimum UTME scores for Nursing, Law, and Medicine (MBBS) are 220, 240, and 250 respectively. Lower-scoring candidates can apply for other courses and change their preference on JAMB CAPS.
EKSU accepts JUPEB with a minimum of 6 points for admission but not IJMB. Detailed payment instructions for the EKSU Post-UTME screening exercise are available on the official website. Candidates must accurately input their information, as payments made in error are non-refundable.
To apply for UTME/DE, visit the EKSU website and complete the application process. Direct Entry candidates must possess specific qualifications, including a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnics for Engineering programs. Changing the first-choice institution to EKSU for Direct Entry candidates is possible until October 31, 2023.
It’s crucial to participate in the screening exercise to be considered for admission. Failing to do so will lead to disqualification.
