Applications are now being accepted for the Griffith University Research Scholarships 2026 (GUIPRS) in Australia.

Financial Coverage
Full Tuition Fee Coverage: For up to three years for PhD candidates and two years for master’s research students.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC): Health insurance for the applicant and their dependents for a maximum of 42 months.

Scholarship Duration

 Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the GUIPRS 2026, applicants must:

Be classified as an international student (not an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen).
Be commencing or enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at Griffith University.
Not be in receipt of an equivalent scholarship or award that offsets HDR tuition fees, such as a Commonwealth Government award.

Academic Requirements
For Master’s applicants: Completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
For PhD applicants: Completion of a master’s degree or equivalent research experience.

How to Apply Griffith University Research Scholarships?
Choose a Program: Select a research-based master’s or PhD program that matches your interests.
Find a Supervisor: Connect with a prospective supervisor to discuss your proposed research project.
Prepare Your Documents: Gather necessary materials including academic transcripts, a curriculum vitae (CV), research proposal, English language proficiency results, and referee reports.
Submit an Online Application: Apply through Griffith University’s official portal, making sure to indicate your application for the GUIPRS scholarship.
New applicants must submit both their HDR program and scholarship applications simultaneously. Current students or those holding an offer (but not yet commenced) should follow the scholarship-only application process.

Applicants are permitted to apply for consideration a maximum of two times within a five-year period.
