The Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship is the Educational Grant Programme for eligible international students as approved by the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The 2026 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship provides full funding that covers the tuition, flight, accommodation, and living stipends for selected candidates on an annual basis to study in the leading universities of Azerbaijan.

2026 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship Requirements:
In order to be eligible to apply for the 2026 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship, applicants must:
•Be citizens of the OIC and the NAM member countries.
•For undergraduate and general medicine programmes – citizens younger than 25.
•For graduate and residency programmes – citizens younger than 30.
•For doctoral programmes – citizens younger than 40.

How To Apply for 2026 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship
To apply for the Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship, the candidates must:
•Be officially nominated by respective state entities of their country (Ministries, Embassies, etc.) to the Embassies or to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan
For official nomination by the respective state entities/government authorities (Ministries,
Embassies, etc.) the applicants must submit the required documents to the relevant
authorities for the first stage of the application process. The last date of the submission is
April 15, 2026 at 6 PM Baku time.
•If the candidates are officially nominated by the respective government authorities they will
proceed to the second stage of the application process and apply through Study in
Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) website (portal.edu.az).
•After logging in SIACAS website applicants must choose the relevant Admission channel to apply.

•The selection process for the Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship will cover two stages:
*Review of the relevant documents
*Interviews (online/Skype)
•The candidates will be informed about the results by July 2026.
