IMO STATE UNIVERSITY (IMSU) RELEASES 2024/2025 POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE

The public is hereby informed that the Imo State University (IMSU) Owerri, will commence registration of candidates for the 2024/2025 POST-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise on Thursday 1st August 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:

•Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri as their first choice and scored a minimum of 170 in the UTME.

•Candidates who did not choose Imo State University as their first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website and change their institution of first choice to Imo State University, Owerri before the close of the POST-UTME application process.

•Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree. “A” Level or their equivalents in relevant disciplines and subjects.

  • Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS
  • Candidates whose “O’ Level results are being awaited are advised to also upload the same to JAMB as soon as the results are released. Candidates who failed to upload their Results to JAMB will not be considered for admission.

HOW TO APPLY

Visit the University website at: https://imsuonline.edu.ng and click on 2024/25
Post UTME/Direct Entry Application.

i. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to check for eligibility. If eligible. Proceed to make payment.

ii. Enter correctly, your JAMB Reg. Number Only as the Invoice Number.

iii. Make a payment of N2,000 Naira and generate a receipt.

iv. Go back to https://imsuonline.edu.ng after 24 hours of completing payment. Click on 2024/25 Post UTME/Direct Entry Application again to complete the Application form. For easier access, candidates are encouraged to use IMSU Microfinance Bank.

v. Present the acknowledgment slip at the PUTME/DE screening venue on the date of the screening/examination.

APTITUDE TEST:

The specific date and time for the individual candidate’s screening examination will be communicated in due course.

The closing date for this exercise is Friday 23rd August 2024.
