As at the time of writing this article, The Positive Voice gathered that, a total of 250,000 candidates have yet to sit for the ongoing 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME due to rescheduling of candidates and a total number of 1,350,000 had sat for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME out of 1.6 million registered candidates.

Quite a number of questions have arouses from candidates, mostly those who have sat for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME expecting their various results. Let me start with candidates that were unable to sit for their exam as scheduled on their slip.

Question: Will JAMB not rescheduled us?

Answer: Yes, you will surely be rescheduled and not a single candidate will miss out this 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME. You just have to keep calm and exercise patience.

The reason why most candidates who were rescheduled this year examination is because of the new adopted format jamb make use of this year, compare to last year where an Examination that was scheduled for 9:00am can be take or start by 9:00pm in the night or 3:00pm of that same day. But the difference in this year examination is One hour (1hrs) after one and half hour (1hrs, 30 minutes) you can not start the same examination because that same exam has been taken in another centres and jamb believes such questions has been leaked. Question: How many does it take to write jamb/How many days does jamb last?

Answer: This question is asked by most students, well it varies, depending on JAMB timetable for each year, but the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME usually take 6 days, the last year Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB examination also last for 6 days, which commenced on Friday, 6th of May and end on the 13th of May, 2022.

This year examination will also last for 6 good days, from 25th of April and end 2nd of May, 2023 and the exam will be over.

Question: Is 2023 JAMB results out?

Answer: This the most widely asked questions by candidate, after sitting for the exam, they will be curious to know their score to know the next line of action to take.

Well the answer to this question is capital NO, the results is not yet out, when jamb results is out, candidate will be able to access and check their prospective result through USSD Code by send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the same phone number that he/she had used for registration and the result would be returned as a text message. Then after successful finalizing and uploading, the results will be made available on the board results checker portal.

But, as at the time of written this article, the results is not yet out.

I have a good news for you, when asked on Tuesday, after the examination end for the day, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the head of Public Relations Officer for the board said, We’re looking at the results and by God grace, we will release the first batch of the results soon, he said.

Which means the results will be release in batches.

Question: When exactly will 2023 result be out?

Answer: Have answer this question before, let judge by last year 2022 UTME. Last year UTME results was made available for checking day after the successful completion of the 2022 examination. Which was on May 14th, 2022. The examination which started on May 6, and end on May 13, 2022.

But, the number of candidates that were reschedules this year are much, stay updated to out site and this site will be updated as soon as the results is released.

Question: When will 2023 JAMB results will be made available via SMS?

Answer: As said earlier, the results will firstly be made available via the registered phone number of each candidate by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 and would be returned as text before moving to jamb result checker portal.

Well, it usually take 48 to 72 hours before it made available through SMS, which means if we’re to predict, the result should be made available via SMS on Thursday, 4th of May, 2023 or Friday, 5th of May, 2023.

Note: only if our prediction is right, this not when the results will be out, I only judge based on past examinations experience.

So, irrespective of the two days, you should expect your results on Friday, 5th of May, 2023.
